Trent Lott also believes Katrina was an "act of God" to rid New Orleans of "all the gays." Well, his home in New Orleans was destroyed so I guess he outed himself with that comment.

Why do people insist on putting their ignorance on display?

"We must help and pray for those ravaged by this disaster, but let us not forget that the citizens of New Orleans tolerated and welcomed the wickedness in their city for so long," Marcavage said. "May this act of God cause us all to think about what we tolerate in our city limits, and bring us trembling before the throne of Almighty God," Marcavage concluded.

PUH-LEEEEZE!!
There are simply NO words strong enough for me to express accurately how SICK AND FUCKING TIRED I am of all this ignorance!

What a freakin nutcase. Scary thing is, some people are so naive as to actually believe this shit.

I can't spend too much time on stuff like that, it eats me up inside and makes me feel truly depressed.
